Leader: The Rev. Mike Cole is the General Presbyter of the Presbytery of New Covenant.

Mike and Ellie’s son, Colin (a SYW graduate) and his wife, Amberly, are the proud parents of Jacquelynn (3+ years old) and Katelynn (1+ years old).

Mike attended the University of Texas and graduated from the University of Houston. He completed his theological education at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Mike has served as a pastor in Wyoming, California, Oregon and Texas before accepting the call as General Presbyter.

He has served Synod Youth Workshop for two years as an adult sponsor, five years as a Small Group Leader, two years as Assistant Director and two years as Director!

Paul reminds us that God’s real world is very different from either the real world in which we live or “The Real World” on TV. Synod Youth  Workshop gives us the opportunity to live in God’s real world and, through the study of the parables of Jesus, explore God’s intentions for our priorities, future, relationships, forgiveness and friends.
